Bungling criminals try to pull off a kidnapping crime, but everything ends in disaster when student detectives join the case! Students will gain an opportunity to help former Detective Jessica Wallace solve the case!
The Detective Skills Academy is an adventure skill series for future detectives ages 9 and up. This series, which teaches many detective skills such as lie detection and how to read body language. Students will also learn reading comprehension skills, such as 5W&H, cause & effect, main idea, context clues, and inference.
Detective Skills Academy Adventures
are opportunities for future detectives to practice the skills they have learned at the Detective Skills Academy. Using these skills, students will solve realistic case file mysteries!
The Detective Skills Academy: Solving the Case with 5W&H (Skill Series #001) welcomes new future detectives to training! Students will learn about the questions professional detectives are all asking: Who? What? Where? Why? When? Students will learn how to gather clues and solve the case. Students will get an opportunity to work with the Case File Club to examine case files! Don’t forget your detective journal! This is one lesson you won’t want to forget!
